Portal for Buying and Selling Car Parts from MSMEs

ET Autolytics

Connecting MSME Manufacturers to Big Car Manufacturers

I worked on creating a portal from where big manufacturers can buy Car parts from MSME sector manufacturers in bulk

This gave me an opportunity to learn about the automobile sector and also how a good user experience is crucial when it comes to such order sizes

Roles and Responsibilities

I had been given the entire responsibility of this project under the supervision of my senior. In this project I conducted primary and secondary research along with wireframing and a little bit of prototyping as well.

Duration

2 Weeks

Research

The goal was to learn from the competition and see what, why and how they work

Insights

Many MSME Manufacturers just use LinkedIn to trade and First move advantage is not observed in these type of companies

A much more extensive research was conducted for this task

Wireframing

All this research was then used to create wireframes for our portal which also goes well with the current economic times interface

I was working at two projects simultaneously and both of them were quite similar, therefore I had to come up with components that could be used in both.

You’re gonna see the two projects to be very similar and almost merged

High Fidelity Wireframes

The High fidelity wireframes can be seen in the link below which are made by keeping both the projects in mind

Adforum platform for Economic Times

ET Brand Equity

Portal for Viewing Ads, Booking Agencies and Producers and Getting Inspiration for Ad Making

ET was working on making a competitor to the current website adforum where you can view ad agencies and watch all kinds of advertisement to hire someone

I was tasked to do the research and competitor analysis for the same and come up with wireframes

This task was being simultaneously worked upon with the previously mentioned project and has many similarities

Roles and Responsibilities

I was tasked to conduct extensive research on the current adforums platform which will be our direct competitors in the market and also to come up with wireframes for our own platform.

Duration

Webinar pages redesign

ET Brand Equity

The old webinar section that hosted notable speakers at ET wasn’t designed to the exact requirements that they needed and hence had to be redesigned to cater to those needs

Roles and Responsibilities

The research was previously conducted by my team and I had to transform those pain points into actual design by creating an all new webinar section. This included Low fidelity and high fidelity wireframing and also a little bit of prototyping.

Duration

2 Weeks

Wireframes

The research was previously provided to me by my team member on which helped me create the wireframes for the section.

Final Design

On this project I was provided with the chance to work on the design and how these wireframes would look finally

Conclusion

During my internship at Times Internet, I had an amazing experience working directly under the Head of UX and participating in meetings with directors from different departments. I learned the importance of collaboration, user-centered design, and how strategic UX decisions shape the bigger picture, all while being part of impactful projects in a dynamic environment.
